Wonderful and very rare vintage Marimekko maxi dress in the Tarha pattern by Annika Rimala. The fabric was designed by Annika Rimala in 1963 and it´s name is “Tarha” (Garden). The name of the dress is Rakkauskirje - love letter. Lovely piece of fashion history. Lovely piece of fashion history. This one has brown dots in a dark and light blue ground- the rarest color.
The dress has a high scoop neck, half length puffed sleeves and pleated frill hem. Silver metal buttons on the front.
100% cotton. Comes with the original cotton belt. The label has been torn out of this, but the Fuschia one we have is identical and it is from 1963 as evident by it's label. Fabric has it's original crisp finish. Mint condition!
We already have a photo of the model with the pink version, so we are using that to show the style. The blue is identical but for color.
